P polar group is phosphate group and C polar group is hydroxyl group. P is a characteristic component in cell membranes of all 3 domains while C is typically found in animal cell membranes and rare in prokaryotes

T and C Similarities

Insoluble in water. Travel through the bloodstream packed in lipoproteins

T and C Differences

T are nonpolar and C is amphipatic. T is used for energy storage and C is used for membrane structural support and as a precursor for other products.
