a painting technique in which pigment/paint is applied to wet plaster

when was the cycladic art created?
c. 3000-1200 B.C.
what did the cycladic female sculptures look like?
each form had abstracted features. they were highly symmetrical, and had arms folded under gently protruding breasts. joints were emphasized by being pointed. necks and noses were longer, and the faces were featureless.
how were the cycladic female sculptures designed?
a lot of their sculptures had certain colorful motifs on them. most of the motifs were eyes, drawing your attention to them. These are spectulated for an emphasis on healing parts where the motifs were shown on the sculpture.
