Tell me about yourself
Well, I have recently graduated from the University of Houston with a Bachelors in E.S. and I have experience with coaching kids as one of my projects for undergrad where I helped out with drills and fundamentals. I’m really interested in patient care and rehab because I am interested in learning more about clinics and how they function and helping people out with exercises that I am interested in
“Tell me about your coaching experience.”
I helped the head coach run drills and coordinate different stations, making sure every kid understood what they were supposed to be doing. I focused on keeping things organized and fair, especially during competitive drills, so everyone had a good experience. I also made it a point to give positive feedback when a kid did something well, because it kept them engaged and confident. Overall, my role was to support the coaches and create an environment where the kids could learn, stay motivated, and have fun
Tell me about your strengths ( core memorization)
Highly Strategic
Reflective
Notice when someone needs help
Tell me about your strengths (Answer for strategic component)
I’m a strategic thinker, I naturally look for the most efficient, effective way to approach a task, and I’m good at working around obstacles by using the resources available to me. In school I would look for the best study methods by trying out multiple strategies that included flashcards and Notion dashboards.
Tell me about your weaknesses
Prone to overthinking, oftentimes I am reluctant to do something because of my anxiousness to get it right
Why do you want to work here (Exercise coach specific answer)
I see this as an opportunity to use my background in exercise science to work with people of multiple age groups and am excited at the potential experience to get to work with people and grow
How would people describe you
People would probably describe me as thoughtful, dependable, and calm. I like to think things through before I act, and I try to be someone people can rely on.
How are you with multi-tasking?
I'm comfortable multitasking. During college I balanced a part-time job with a full course load, so I had to manage my time well and switch between different responsibilities. I know working in a clinic means helping patients, cleaning equipment, and assisting therapists throughout the day, and I'm comfortable adapting as priorities change.
Tell me about a time where you had to help someone through a difficult situation
?
“Tell me about a time you did something nice for someone”
One small moment that stands out was when my sister was having a rough day, and I gave her the last piece of chicken even though I was hungry. It wasn’t about the food it was about noticing she needed a little comfort and choosing to do something small to make her feel better. That taught me how small gestures can change someone’s mood.
Am I actually going to use this? Idk
