Izhar
-Literally: to make clear or apparent
-to pronounce the ن clearly and completely
-when ن with sukoon or tanween is followed by a throat letter (ء ه ع ح غ ج)
Idgham
-Literally: to insert or merge
-to assimilate a letter into another letter
-for ن and tanween, its divided into with and without ghunna
-assimilation of the ن sakinah at the end of a word or tanween into the next letter if the following begins with يرملون
-if it is followed by ل or ر there is no ghunna
