Angular Displacement

The angle at which a body rotates around a center or axis of rotation, measured in radians, with counterclockwise as positive and clockwise as negative.

Average Angular Velocity

The average rate of change of angular displacement over elapsed time, a vector quantity measured in rad/s.

Average Angular Acceleration

The average rate of change of angular velocity over elapsed time, a vector quantity measured in rad/s^2.

Equations of Rotational Kinematics

Set of equations describing rotational motion with constant angular acceleration, involving angular displacement, velocity, acceleration, time, and initial/final angular velocity.

Tangential Velocity

The linear speed of an object moving along a circular path, calculated as the product of radius and angular velocity, measured in m/s.

Tangential Acceleration

The rate of change of tangential speed, calculated as the product of radius and angular acceleration, measured in m/s^2.

Centripetal Acceleration

The acceleration directed towards the center of a circular path, calculated as the product of radius and angular velocity squared, measured in m/s^2.
