Newton's First Law of Inertia
States that an object at rest stays at rest, and an object in motion stays in motion at a constant velocity unless acted upon by an unbalanced force.
Newton's Second Law
States that the force on an object is equal to its mass times its acceleration (Force=Mass×Acceleration).
Newton's Third Law
States that for every action, there is an equal and opposite reaction.
Distance-Time Graph: Stationary
Represented by a horizontal, flat line on a distance-time graph, indicating that the object is not moving.
Distance-Time Graph: Getting Faster
Represented by a line curving upward on a distance-time graph, indicating increasing speed or positive acceleration.
Distance-Time Graph: Returning to Start
Represented by a line with a negative slope on a distance-time graph, indicating that the object is moving back toward its starting position.
Distance-Time Graph Motion Types
A diagram displaying key motion behaviors on a distance vs. time plot, including steady speed, fast steady speed, stationary state, getting faster, and returning to start.

Distance-Time Graph: Distance from Home
A distance-time graph where the highest point represents the furthest distance reached from home and a negative slope shows walking back home.

Force and Motion Concepts
A visual collection of core physics concepts including Force, Motion, Speed, Acceleration, Velocity, Inertia, Friction, Gravity, Work, Potential Energy, Kinetic Energy, and Newton's Laws.
