Data Structure
A specialized format for organizing, processing, storing, and retrieving data efficiently in a computer's memory.
Linear Data Structures
Data structures organized in sequential order.
Non-Linear Data Structures
Data structures organized in hierarchical or interconnected order.
Array
A fixed-size collection of identical data types stored in continuous memory slots.
Linked List
Sequential elements (nodes) where each node points to the next node in memory.
Stack
A linear data structure using LIFO (Last In, First Out) where elements are added and removed from the same end.
Queue
A linear data structure using FIFO (First In, First Out) where elements enter at the back and exit from the front.
LIFO
Last In, First Out; the operating mechanism of a stack where elements are added and removed from the same end.
FIFO
First In, First Out; the operating mechanism of a queue where elements enter at the back and exit from the front.
