Form 1040
Federal Income Tax Return filed by U.S. citizens and resident aliens.
Form 1040-SR
Simplified tax return version for seniors (65 and older) with the same line items as Form 1040.
Form 1040-NR
U.S. Nonresident Alien Income Tax Return filed by individuals with non-resident (F1/J1) status.
Form 1040-X
Form used to amend a previously filed Form 1040.
Schedule 1
Reports additional income and adjustments to income, including information like adjustments to gross income instead of Form 1040.
Schedule 1-A
Reports One Big Beautiful Bill (OBBB) deductions.
Schedule 1-B
Reports additional credits.
Schedule 1-C
Reports additional taxes.
Schedule A
Reports itemized deductions.
Schedule B
Reports interest and dividend income from bank accounts and investments.
Schedule C
Reports profit and expenses from a business or self-employment income from Schedule SE / 1099-NEC.
Schedule D
Reports income and losses from capital assets, stocks, real estate, etc.
Schedule E
Reports income and losses from rental activity, etc.
Schedule F
Reports income and losses from farming activities.
Schedule SE
Used for self-employment tax (SE Tax) calculations.
Form 4562
Used for depreciation and amortization calculations for assets purchased during the tax year.
Form 8829
Used to calculate expenses for business use of your home (home office deduction).
Schedule K-1
Used to report income, losses, and credits for partners or shareholders in a partnership or S Corporation.
Form 1065
U.S. Return of Partnership Income, used by partnerships to report income, losses, deductions, credits, etc.
Form 1120-S
U.S. Income Tax Return for an S Corporation, used by S Corporations to report income, deductions, credits, etc.
Form 1099-MISC / Form 1099-NEC
Forms used to report non-employee compensation and contractor income, which is reported as Schedule C income on Form 1040.
