What is a termination (“term”)? How many days does an IM have to work them?

“Terms” occur when Total Funded on Order + Reported Assets > Bud+1 Req. (IM bought more than they should have). The IM has 10 working days to work a term.

What is GFE?

Government Furnished Equipment requested by a contractor for a specific time frame (typically 1 year) to perform support to an Air Force function.

A Form 8 is the GFM loan lease request used to fulfil a GFE request. System used is MSDIS/EMS

How does an IM retrieve a FD document number for offline shipping?

Document numbers are retrieved from the GUMA SharePoint.

When are offline shipments necessary? What system and screen are the action performed?

Typically, offline shipments are used to send assets to a contractor or any other customer who cannot submit a requisition. Performed through D035 in the NEW screen.
