Macroeconomics
The branch of economics that deals with the economy as a whole, focusing on aggregate issues such as unemployment, gross domestic product (GDP), inflation, and interest rates.
ECON 1A Course Description
An introductory inquiry into the workings and interrelationships of the aggregate economic system, with a primary focus on total production and its distribution, employment, price levels, and the roles of government and the monetary sector.

Attendance Policy (ECON 1A)
Unannounced roll calls taken during 5 random classes throughout the semester, each worth 20 points (approximately 3.33% each) for a total of 100 points (16.6% of the grade), with no make-ups allowed.
