Structure
2 stanza poem (1=10lines, 2=20lines), AABBCCDD coupled rhyme scheme which forces structure and prolongs resolution, varying lines and phrases which represent the shifting perspectives contain a lot of enjambement which creates a contemplative and conversational nature, cyclical structure marking endless decisions. Metrics are iambic but irregular giving a structured tone with interrupted pauses for thought. Two voices of reason that represent the past and future selfs of the speaker. In the first stanza the narrative switches from purely descriptive to first person
