cumulated (allenes)
double bonds share a carbon (back to back alkenes) with the general structure C=C=C.

isolated diene
double bonds are separated by one or more sp3 Cs, act as normal alkene.

conjugated diene
double bonds on adjacent carbons (alternating double/single bonds)
stability of dienes
conjugated > isolated > cumulated
kinetic product
easier pathway, to favor keep cold, usually 1,2 product
Thermodynamic product
more stable product, to favor add heat, usually 1,4 product
