The First Language
An ancient, living linguistic force older than recorded history whose spoken words directly command reality rather than casting standard magic.
The Great Seal
An ancient magical barrier constructed by early civilizations to lock magic inside relics and prevent past, present, and future timelines from colliding.

Marble-sized spherical devices crafted by Landen Cooper that store and deploy temporal combat effects, including bursts, kinetic ruptures, speed dampening, and healing.
Stamina Surge
Taniva Lindberg's ability that converts physical stamina into magical speed, accelerating her movements as her energy levels deplete.

The underground Roman maze of corridors, lifts, and cages beneath the Colosseum housing the Fountain of Remembrance.
Fountain of Remembrance
A subterranean Roman fountain that gathers the spilled blood and combat memories of the arena, marking the sole entrance to the Laurel of Dominion.
The Three Claims
The sequential trials—War, Rule, and Legacy—required to prove worthy of claiming the Laurel of Dominion.
The First Claim (War)
The trial symbolized by the sword, testing whether a commander understands that war is won through leadership, adaptation, and knowing when force is no longer needed.
The Second Claim (Rule)
The trial symbolized by the crown, testing whether a ruler accepts responsibility for difficult decisions while granting subjects the freedom of choice.
The Third Claim (Legacy)
The trial symbolized by the eagle, testing the understanding that true legacy is defined by what choices inspire others to become rather than monuments or forced obedience.
Kael
