業務

初期

しょき / early stage; initial period / 研究の初期段階(だんかい)ではデータが少なかった。(In the early stage of the research there was little data.)

どういうかんじ / what's it like?; how's it going? (casual) / 新しい研究室ってどういう感じ？(What's the new lab like?)

っていうのは

= というのは / (the thing) called X is…; what I mean is… / 締め切りっていうのは来週の月曜のこと？(By "deadline" do you mean next Monday?)

テンション上がる

てんしょんあがる / to get hyped; to get excited (often just めっちゃ上がる) / 雪を見てめっちゃテンション上がった。(I got super hyped when I saw the snow.)
