ENDOWMENT
In acting, an endowment is when an actor imagines and assigns qualities,
characteristics, or significance to an object, person, or space to make it feel
real on stage.
CIRCUIT
A sequence onstage that is repeated
ACCOST
To accost means to approach and speak to someone boldly, aggressively, or
confrontationally
PROSCENIUM
A proscenium stage is a theater configuration where the audience faces the
stage from one side only, framed by a large opening called the proscenium
arch.
THRUST
A thrust stage extends into the audience so that spectators sit on three
sides of the performance area.
RAKED
A raked stage is a stage that is slanted, usually rising toward the back,
allowing the audience a better view of the action
ARENA
stage (or theater-in-the-round) is a performance space
surrounded by the audience on all four sides.
