Group 1: Buildings of Simplest Utilization and Character

Structures that include armories, bakeries, hangars, industrial service garages, manufacturing/industrial plants, packaging and processing plants, parking structures, habitable agricultural buildings, printing plants, public markets, simple loft-type buildings, warehouses, and similar utilization-type buildings.

Group 1 Base Fee Rates ($\text{P} 50.0\text{ million and less}$)

$5\%$ of PCC for DAEDS and $3.0\%$ of PCC for DADS.

Group 2: Buildings of Moderate Complexity

Structures of moderate complexity, including art galleries, banks, financial institutions, bowlodromes, call centers, churches, city/town halls, civic centers, college buildings, convents, seminaries, correctional facilities, court houses, dormitories, exhibition halls, fire stations, laundries, libraries, malls, motels, multi-storey apartments, nursing homes, office buildings/condominiums, parks, playgrounds, residential condominiums, police stations, postal facilities, private clubs, publishing plants, race tracks, restaurants, retail/wholesale stores, schools, serviced apartments, shopping centers, showrooms, specialty shops, supermarkets, welfare buildings, and mixed-use buildings.

Group 2 Base Fee Rates ($\text{P} 50.0\text{ million and less}$)

$6\%$ of PCC for DAEDS and $3.6\%$ of PCC for DADS.

Group 3: Buildings of Exceptional Character and Complexity

Structures of exceptional character and complexity, including airports, wet & dry ports, terminals, aquariums, auditoriums, breweries, cold storage facilities, convention facilities, gymnasiums, hospitals, medical buildings, hotels, laboratories, testing facilities, marinas, resort complexes, medical arts offices, mental institutions, mortuaries, nuclear facilities, observatories, public health centers, research facilities, stadia, telecommunication buildings, theaters, transportation facilities & systems, and veterinary hospitals.

Group 3 Base Fee Rates ($\text{P} 50.0\text{ million and less}$)

$7\%$ of PCC for DAEDS and $4.2\%$ of PCC for DADS.

Group 4: Residences

Covered structures including single-detached, single-attached, duplexes, row-houses, shop-houses, small apartment houses, and townhouses.

Group 4 Recommended Professional Fee (RPF)

$10\%$ of PCC for Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design Services (DAEDS) and $6\%$ of PCC for Detailed Architectural Design Services (DADS).

Group 5: Monumental Buildings

Covered structures including monumental buildings, exposition and fair buildings, mausoleums, memorials, monuments, museums, and specialized decorative buildings.

Group 5 Recommended Professional Fee (RPF)

$12\%$ of PCC for Detailed Architectural and Engineering Design Services (DAEDS) and $7.5\%$ of PCC for Detailed Architectural Design Services (DADS).

Group 6: Repetitive Construction

Projects where plans/designs and contract documents are re-used for repetitive construction of similar buildings without amendments.

Group 6 Fee Computation Schedule

First (1st) Building: $100\%$ of RPF for type of building; Second (2nd) Building: $50\%$ of RPF; Third (3rd) Building: $40\%$ of RPF; Fourth (4th) and Succeeding Buildings: $30\%$ of RPF.

Group 7: Housing Projects

Housing projects involving multiple residential units on a single site using one ($1$) set of plans/design and specifications.

Group 7 DAEDS Rate Schedule

First (1st) Unit: $10\%$ of PCC; $2\text{ to }10$ Units: Fee for $1$ unit + $50\%$ RPF per additional unit; $11\text{ to }30$ Units: Fee for $10$ units + $40\%$ RPF per additional unit; $31\text{ to }50$ Units: Fee for $30$ units + $25\%$ RPF per additional unit; $51\text{ Units and Above}$: Fee for $50$ units + $15\%$ RPF per additional unit.

Group 7 DADS Rate Schedule

First (1st) Unit: $6\%$ of PCC; $2\text{ to }10$ Units: Fee for $1$ unit + $30\%$ RPF per additional unit; $11\text{ to }30$ Units: Fee for $10$ units + $24\%$ RPF per additional unit; $31\text{ to }50$ Units: Fee for $30$ units + $15\%$ RPF per additional unit; $51\text{ Units and Above}$: Fee for $50$ units + $9\%$ RPF per additional unit.

Group 8: Extensive Details & Interiors

Projects involving extensive detail such as built-in components, built-in equipment, special fittings, screens, counters, architectural interiors, and development planning/design, carrying a Recommended Professional Fee of $15\%$ of the Project Construction Cost (PCC).

Group 9: Alterations and Renovations

Alterations, renovations, rehabilitations, retrofits, and expansion/additions to existing buildings belonging to Groups 1 to 5, with a Recommended Professional Fee increased by $50\%$ for a total of $150\%$ of the RPF of the base building type.

Group 10: Consultations and Technical Advice

Services where the architect renders opinions, advice, clarifications, explanations on technical matters, or acts as an expert witness.

Group 10 Technical Advice / Consultation Fee

Not less than $\text{P}1,000.00\text{ per hour}$ (subject to travel/location adjustments).

Group 10 Expert Witness Appearance Fee

Not less than $\text{P}5,000.00\text{ per appearance}$ (regardless of whether the hearing took place or not).
