Data
Raw, unprocessed facts, symbols, and numbers without contextual meaning.
Information
Data that has been processed, structured, or organized to give it context, relevance, and meaning for decision-making.
Information System
An integrated set of components designed to collect, store, process, and deliver data and information within an organization.
Management Information System (MIS)
A computer-based information system that provides managers with tools to organize, evaluate, and efficiently manage departmental and organizational operations.
Business Intelligence
The strategies, technologies, and applications used by enterprises for data analysis and management of business information to support decision-making.
Networked Computers
A system of interconnected computers that can communicate, share resources, and exchange data with one another.
Client Server Networks
A network architecture where individual client workstations access resources and services supplied by a centralized server.
Multitasking
The ability of an operating system to execute multiple tasks or processes concurrently on a single CPU.
Multiprogramming
An operating system feature that allows multiple programs to be kept in main memory simultaneously to keep the CPU continuously occupied.
Multiprocessing
The execution of multiple concurrent software processes or threads using two or more CPUs within the same computer system.
Multiuser System
An operating system or computer system that allows multiple users to access system resources and run programs at the same time.
Cloud Computing
The delivery of computing services—such as servers, storage, databases, networking, and software—over the internet.
AI Assisted Computing
The integration of artificial intelligence tools and algorithms into computational processes to enhance and automate data processing and management.
Computing Infrastructure
