Adjacent Angles
Two coplanar angles with a common side, vertex, and no common “interior points” (can’t be INSIDE another angle, for example)
Vertical Angles
Two angles whose sides are opposite rays
Complementary Angles
Two angles whose measure have a sum of 90 degrees; each angle is COMPLEMENTARY of each other
Supplementary Angles
Two angles whose measures have a sum of 180 degrees, each angle is called SUPPLEMENT of the other
Linear Pair of Angles
A pair of adjacent angles whose noncommon sides are opposite rays. The angles of a linear pair form a STRAIGHT LINE.
