spanish role play 1

(E) Hola, ¡dígame!

(C) Hola.

(E) Hi ¡go ahead!

(C) Hello. I will be at the university on an Erasmus exchange for the coming academic year. I don’t know anyone in Cáceres. Could you give me some advice regarding accommodation?

(E) In which part of the city would you like to live?

(C) I would prefer to live near the university because last year I lived on the outskirts of Dublin and I didn't like it at all.

(E) Why?

(C) I spent a lot of time traveling because my accommodation was very far from everything. If I could spend that time studying, I would be able to get good grades.

(E) You’re right. But you know, Cáceres is a very small city, and you can walk from the outskirts to the Plaza Mayor in half an hour.

(C) Well, it’s not far and the weather is much better than in Ireland, so I’ll consider all the neighborhoods, although I’d prefer to live in the city center.
