PNG-24
A high-quality lossless format that supports over 16 million colors (24-bit).
PSD
Adobe Photoshop's native format that supports layers and effects.
TIFF
A high-quality raster format used in printing, can be lossless or lossy.
Vector
An image made of paths and curves, scales without losing quality.
Rasterize
The process of converting a vector image into a raster image.
Resample
Changing the number of pixels in an image, affecting its resolution.
Bitmap
A type of raster image made of individual pixels.
Attribution (CC BY)
Allows others to use, remix, and build upon your work, crediting you.
Attribution-ShareAlike (CC BY-SA)
Similar to CC BY, but requires new works to be licensed under the same terms.
Attribution-NoDerivs (CC BY-ND)
Allows reuse of your work, but it cannot be changed.
Attribution-NonCommercial (CC BY-NC)
Allows remixing and building upon your work non-commercially with credit.
Attribution-NonCommercial-ShareAlike (CC BY-NC-SA)
Similar to CC BY-NC, but requires new works to be licensed the same way.
Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivs (CC BY-NC-ND)
The most restrictive license; allows downloading but not changing or commercial use.
