Resolve
To work out or find an answer to(a fixity of purpose)
Facade
A false, superficial or artificial appearance or effect
Soliloquy
A long speech made by a character in a play while no other characters are on stage
Paradox
A statement that appears self-contradictory, but that reveals a kind of truth
Personification
A figure of speech in which an object or animal is given human feelings, thoughts, or attitudes
Ambiguity
Deliberately suggesting two or more different, and somewhat conflicting meanings in a work. An event or situation that may be interpreted in more ways than one, done on purpose by the author. When not done on purpose, it is too vague to have significant meaning to the work.
Practicality
In a state of being practical(capable of being put to use or account)
Irrepressible
Impossible to keep confined, restrained, or controlled
Salvage
Something saved from destruction in a calamity(ex. a fire, shipwreck, etc.)
Assuaging
To lessen the intensity of something, reducing it to a state of calm, peace, or quiet.
Cynical
Having or showing an attitude or temper that is distrustful of human nature/motives
Feigned
To have given a false appearance of, inducing a false impression, or pretending that something is true
Negligible
Something small enough to warrant little or no attention
Disdain
Feelings of contempt for someone or something regarded as unworthy or inferior
Preoccupation
A state of extreme worry or concern over something other than should bew focused on.
