CBS (Columbia Broadcasting System)

Alfre Woodard

Steeve (stevedore)
Verb meaning to load cargo into a ship's hold. A longshoreman or stevedore works in loading and unloading ships at a port, derived from the Spanish word 'estibador'.
UC Davis (University of California, Davis)

Riata
A braided rope made of rawhide used as a lariat or lasso. The word comes from the Spanish 'reata'.

Federal Treasury agent who led 'The Untouchables', a team of uncorruptible prohibition agents that helped bring down Chicago gangster Al Capone.

Al Capone
Infamous Chicago gangster and bootlegger during the Prohibition era, known for his ruthless crime syndicate and involvement in organized crime.

Lariat
A long rope with a loop at one end used for catching livestock, particularly in rodeo events.

Rodeo
A competitive event that showcases skills in horseback riding and cattle herding, often featuring activities like roping, barrel racing, and bull riding.
