Matter (Matèria)
Anything that occupies space and has mass.
Body (Cos)
A portion of matter that forms an object with defined boundaries.
Material System (Sistema material)
Matter that does not have defined boundaries.
Quantitative Properties (Propietats quantitatives)
Properties of matter that are described using a numerical value and a unit (such as temperature).
Qualitative Properties (Propietats qualitatives)
Properties of matter that are described without using numbers.
Extensive Properties (Propietats extensives)
Properties that depend on the amount of mass present.
Intensive Properties (Propietats intensives)
Properties that do not depend on the amount of mass present.
Specific Properties (Característiques específiques)
Properties that have a unique, characteristic value for each type of matter, independent of quantity, which help identify the substance.
General Properties (Propietats generals)
Properties that are present in all types of matter and do not serve to identify the specific type of matter.
