What do you do in your job?

Construction maintenance operations of MG&E electrical infrastructure.

CHildhood?

poor, both parents dies before 14, moved to midlands worked throghout highschool.

How did you become VP?

I joined their coop program in their marketing department in college. graduated and accepted a full time position. took my talents to private equity and became very successful at creating profits. I made friends with Jarvis the ceo. during our golf session, he sent me an offer and i took it to the Vice president.

It takes ten weeks for an issue to become severe enough so we did checks to four-8 weeks. Replace equipment rather than repair.

What were you doing on new years?

Celebrating New yeas, Morgan Jacob about one of our poles over an email It was leaning but service to our customers were not affected. They decided to not dispatch a technician and i agreed based on the facts. no outages none of the sensors indicated and issue. to send a technician would cause loss of power especially on new years. I figured out after the fact about the fire that occured

Cause of the Fire?

I take safety very seriously. the collision caused the fire and no car crash - no fire. the lean . we sent out an incident reponse team and we dont know the definite cause of fire. We know MG&E did not cause the collision and maintained the equipment prio to the car crash.

AFter the fire?

We upgraded and now we are onfident that a fire like this is less likely.
