Infant Mortality Rate
The number of infant deaths per 1,000 live births.
Maternal Mortality Rate
Maternal deaths due to pregnancy or labor complications per 100,000 live births.
Pregnancy-Related Mortality Ratio
The ratio of deaths related to pregnancy per 100,000 live births.
Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS)
The sudden and unexplained death of an infant, typically during sleep.
Preconception Care
Healthcare provided to women of childbearing age aimed at promoting health prior to pregnancy.
WIC Program
