Bait and Switch
consumer fraud tactic “an alluring but sincere offer to sell a product or service which which the advertiser does not intend or want to sell”
Price fixing
all the business in the industry get together and set a price they will all charge for a product or service (ignores law of supply/demand, takes away consumer advantage of market competition)
Bid rigging
a form of price fixing; all the companies who are supposed to submit competitive bids instead conspire and agree in advance who will be awarded the contract
Shakedown
practice where police officers stop someone but take money in exchange for not making an arrest.

Trojan Horse

greatest threat of hacking getting someone’s social security card number , by pressure – growing is ID theft in kids

WAREZ
a form of piracy where web sites allow the downloading of copyrighting programs without paying the royalties (also for computer games, movies, music)companies fear copycat instances

Inserted into computer, supposed to and intended to copy itself over and over, transmit to other devices
