An acronym framework for rhetorical analysis that stands for Speaker, Purpose, Audience, Context, Exigence, Choices, Appeals, and Tone.

Speaker
The 'S' in SPACE CAT, representing the person, group, or author delivering the text or message.
Purpose
The 'P' in SPACE CAT, representing the goal, aim, or intended outcome of the speaker's message.
Audience
The first 'A' in SPACE CAT, representing the specific group or listeners to whom the message is directed.
Context
The first 'C' in SPACE CAT, representing the time, place, historical setting, and surrounding circumstances of the text.
Exigence
The 'E' in SPACE CAT, representing the immediate spark, catalyst, or issue that prompts the speaker to speak or write.
Choices
