Begging the Question

Assuming the conclusion in the premise.

Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc

Assuming causation based on temporal sequence.

Appeal to Pity

Attempting to persuade others by evoking feelings of sympathy or pity, rather than presenting valid arguments or evidence.

Equivocation

Using ambiguous language or terms with multiple meanings to deceive or mislead others.

Composition

Assuming that what is true for the parts of something is also true for the whole.

Appeal to Force

Using force, coercion, or the threat of force as a justification for a conclusion.

Appeal to the People Fallacy

Attempting to persuade others by appealing to popular opinion or the beliefs of a group.

Division

Assuming that something true of a thing must also be true of all or some of its parts.
