Freedom
The power or right to act, speak, and make changes as you want, without being stopped or held back.
Autonomy
The quality or state of being self-governing; independence, which literally means "giving oneself one's own laws".
Negative Freedom
Freedom from external constraints, like laws or oppression.
Positive Freedom
Freedom to do things, like having the resources and opportunities to achieve self-mastery and self-realization.
Democratic
Relating to or supporting democracy or its principles.
Fundamental
Forming a necessary base or core; of central importance.
Constraints
A limitation or restriction.
Oppression
Prolonged cruel or unjust treatment or control.
Self-Mastery
Control over one's own desires or actions.
Anarchy
A state of disorder due to absence or nonrecognition of authority.
Free Will
A broader concept that deals with how consciousness connects to actions, distinct from freedom as a state of mind.
