Caudomedial Muscle that are flexors of the Carpus.

Origin: Medial Epicondyle

Innervation: Ulnar or Median Nerve

Flexor Carpi Radialis

It lies between the pronator teres cranially and superficial digital flexor. A flexor retinaculum, and has a fusiform belly.

Flexor Carpi Radialis

Origin: Medial Epicondyle

Insertion: Metacarpal 2 and 3

Action: F.C

Innervation: Median Nerve

Superficial Digital Flexor

It is beneath the skin and antebrachial facia. Tendon are held firmly in place by palmar annular ligament.

A two-headed muscle consisting of two parts that are distinct throughout their length. Subfascial bursa passes over the tendon of insertion of humeral head.

Flexor Carpi Ulnaris

Origin:

Ulnar head- Palmar border and medial olecranon

Humeral head- Medial epicondyle

Insertion: Accessory Carpal Bone

Action: F.C

Innervation: Ulnar Nerve

Deep Digital Flexor

A three headed muscle, which arises from the humerus, radius, ulna.

Flexor Retinaculum and 3 annular digital Ligament

Palmar Annular Ligament, Proximal Digital Annular Ligament, Distal Digital Annular Ligament.

Deep Digital Flexor

Origin:

Humeral Head: Medial epicondyle

Ulnar Head: ¾ ulnar border

Radial Head: Middle-third of radius

Insertion: Digit 1-5

Action: F.D

Innervation: Ulnar and Median Nerve

Pronator Quadratus

A wide, short muscle filling the interosseous space of radius and ulna.

It is deep to the deep digital flexor muscle.

Insertion: Distal Radius

Action: Pronates the Paw

Innervation: Median Nerve

It lie deep of DDF and cover the palmar

Origin: Metacarpal bones

Insertion: Proximal phalanx

Action: Flexes metacarpophalangeal joint

Innervation: Deep branch ulnar nerve
