Testes
The male reproductive organs that produce sperm and male sex hormones.
Penis
A male sex organ used for sexual intercourse and to release urine.
Ovaries
The female reproductive organs that contain and release egg cells, and release female sex hormones.
Uterus
A muscular bag where the fetus develops before birth.
Vagina
A muscular tube used for sexual intercourse and childbirth.
Urethra (Male)
Tube inside the penis that carries sperm or urine.
Scrotum
A skin sack that holds the testes.
Fallopian tubes
Tubes that move the egg cells from the ovaries to the uterus.
Cervix
The entrance to the uterus, sperm passes through. The muscle keeps a developing foetus in place.
Sperm Ducts
Carries sperm, and adds fluid and nutrients.
Semen
The combination of sperm, fluids, and nutrients that travels down the urethra and is ejaculated from the penis.
Zygote
The cell formed by the joining of a sperm cell and an egg cell during sexual reproduction.
