Human Rights

Basic rights each person possess by virtue of being human.

These rights are universal and inalienable, including the right to life, liberty, and personal security.

They are only limited under exceptional circumstances.

Genocide

The intentional and systematic destruction of a racial, ethnic, national, or religious group, denying them their basic human rights.

Xenophobia

An irrational fear or hatred of foreigners often resulting in discrimination and violations of human rights.

Human Trafficking

Described as modern slavery, exploitation for another gain using force.Illegal trade of human beings

Gender Equity

The fair treatment of individuals regardless of their gender, ensuring equal access to opportunities, resources, and rights.

Gender Equality

The state of equal rights, responsibilities, and opportunities for individuals of all genders, focusing on equal participation in society and access to resources.

Gender based violence

Refers to harmful behaviors directed at individuals based on their gender, manifesting in physical, sexual, emotional, or psychological harm.
