We are happy with our system

Yea that's fair. And look I think if you where in the market to change solutions you would probably be reaching out to us instead of waiting for a cold call. I assume your using like an Approval Max or Lightyear or something?

Not interested (said before pitch)

Is that because you hate cold calls or just hate the sound of my voice? I'll just take 30 seconds to explain and if it's not relevant you can hang up on me, I'll never call you back. Sound fair enough?

Going into a meeting

I’m happy to give you a call back, but how about I just take 30 seconds now to explain why I am calling and if it does not make sense I’ll never call you back.

Already have something in place/ we have that sorted

yeah I mean to be honest I would be surprised if you didn't have anything in place, especially considering the size of your business. I assume your using like an Approval Max or Lightyear or something?

Yea we actually come up against them quite a bit. And for what it’s worth the reason why people entertain the switch to Derive is because we are built natively for Multi-entity companies on Xero. And X tool is not multi-entity friendly. Can I just ask (insert qualifying question)?
Correct me if I am wrong but with X you have to spin up a new file with every instance within Xero and in order to get the full picture of what has been committed, approved and paid across the group, you have to jump between the different files. You can’t see that in one place. Is that correct?

Send me an email

Yea happy to. Can I ask (insert qualifying question). The only reason I am asking is that I don't want to waste your time if it is not going to be helpful for you. If you had said you only had X & Y I would have said that this would be a waste of time. But because you said Z and Q there is definitely value here. So I'll send as much information in the email as humanly possible.

If you like what you see in the email would you be opposed to sitting down for 15 minutes and we can take you through it? I mean worst case scenario you just see what else is out there on the market.
Cool what’s your best email?

Where did you get my number

We work closely with (ROLE) so I searched best (ROLE) in Australia and your number came up.

We are using X system (approvalMax, Dext, hubdoc etc.)

Yea I’ve heard of them we actually come up against them quite a-lot. For what it’s worth the reason people entertain the switch over to Derive is because we are built natively for multi-entity companies who are using Xero. And X is not multi-entity friendly. Can I just ask (Insert qualifying question).
Cool, and correct me if I’m wrong, but you with X you have to spin up a new instance for every file within Xero and and in order to get the full picture of what has been committed, approved and paid across the group, you have to jump between the different files. You can’t see that in one place. Is that correct?

It’s not a priority for us right now/not interested

Yeah 100%. I think like if you were actually in the market to change solutions, you’d probably be reaching out to us, not sitting around waiting for a cold call. In saying that look my guess is that you are probably not going to buy today, but is there anything that would ever warrant you in having a discussion around these things, just to compare what you are doing now vs what is possible?
