Whole Numbers

Consist of all non-decimal positive numbers and includes 0

Integers

Includes 0 and all non-decimal positive and negative numbers

Rational numbers

all numbers that can be written as a fraction or as a ratio of integers (denominator can’t be 0)

Irrational numbers

numbers that **cannot** be written as a ratio of two integers
