Dual-channel.

Each channel is one 64-bit bus.

20
New cards

New cards

How can you reduce mobile data usage if a device has a limited data plans?

Restrict synchronization to WiFi connections only.

Don’t disable synchronization for all apps, as that is impractical.

25
New cards

If a loopback plug shows that an Ethernet port is sending packets but not receiving them, what does it mean?

It means the port itself is faulty.

Loopback plugs don’t tell you about the cable or network configuration, just individual ports.

26
New cards

What can cause network speeds to drop after a Windows security update?

If a network card’s drivers are reconfigured automatically.

27
New cards

What can cause double images / ghost prints on laser printer output?

A faulty drum.

The drum is responsible for giving the page an electrostatic charge so it can receive toner. If it isn’t charging properly, it can cause this.

28
New cards

What is the most likely issue if a computer makes odd noises and says “no source” after a high end PCIe x16 graphics card is installed?
