Briefly explain the interview and survey methods of research. [4]
Both are non-experimental methods which involve asking questions to participants [1]. Interview is done face-to-face; surveys via paper or on screen [1]. Both could use two types of question, but interviews tend to feature open questions and surveys closed questions [1]. Interviews allow follow-up questions, whereas the advantage of surveys is that they are private, so could prompt a higher level of honesty in responses [1].
