Prototype
A model of something, a non-functional or partially functional mock-up of a solution or thing, used to verify assumptions and improve understanding before coding.
Low-fidelity Prototype
A type of prototype created early in the design process, often with paper and pen, involving sketches that are quick to change.
High-fidelity Prototype
A type of prototype developed later in the design process, time-consuming to make, representing a nearly complete understanding and representation of the system.
Class Diagrams
A diagram which allows you to prototype data Structures & storage.
Sequence Diagrams, Use Cases, and Storyboarding
Different prototype tools which help you understand how the system will respond to different inputs or commands, including actions not visible to the user.
Storyboarding, Paper Prototyping, and Wireframing
Different prototypes which are used to design a good user interface.
Ownership
Prototypes inspire __________ as users feel like they are co-designers in the process.
