An inexplicable truth knowable only through faith.

A Greek term for repentance meaning 'to change one's mind'.

A person recognized for holiness and virtue, canonized by the Church.

Exclusivism

The belief that only a select few will be saved.

Universalism

The belief that everyone will ultimately be saved.

Latria

Adoration due to God alone.

Purgatory

The state of purification before entering Heaven.

Beatific Vision

Seeing God as He is, the ultimate goal of human existence.

Pentecost

The day the Holy Spirit descended upon the apostles.

Heretics
