Passato Prossimo

A past tense that reports an action or event that was completed in the past.

Avere or Essere

Auxiliary or helping verbs used to form the passato prossimo.

Participio Passato

The past participle of the verb.

Participio Passato of Regular Verbs

Adding -ato, -uto, and -ito to the infinitive stems of -are, -ere, and -ire verbs, respectively.

To take.

Portare

To take someone/something somewhere, or to bring someone/something to a place.

To know in the sense of to be acquainted with someone or something; to meet.

Sapere

To know a fact, to have knowledge of something, or to find out something; to know how to do something.
