Energy Processing
All living things need a source of energy.
Use energy to break down and build up materials - metabolism
Regulation
Organisms need to maintain homeostaisis - stable internal conditions
Cohesion
water sticking to water
hydrogen bonding
Adhesion
water sticking to something else
Capillary Action
the tendency of water being pulled by something
Surface Tension
cohesion = something staying on top of the water that doesnt break the water
Universal Solvent
water disolving things
Specific Heat Capacity
a lot of heat to raise the temp of water
Hydrophobic
water fearing
any kind of fat or oil
Hydrophillic
water loving
