pases posterior to clavicle
deep to pectoralis minor
axilla which is anatomical space

Roots
C5-T1 ventral rami


C5 + C6 roots = Upper Trunk
C7 root = Middle Trunk
C8 + T1 root = Lower Trunk


The anterior division of lower trunk from = medial cord
the posterior division of all trunk form = posterior cord
the anterior division of superior and middle trunk form= lateral cord




arises from lateral cord
has fibres from C5-C7
leaves axilla by piercing caracobrachialis muscle


arises from posterior cord
has fibres from C5-C6
leaves axilla and moves posteriorly


arises from posterior cord
has fibres from C5-T1
leaves axilla and moves posteriorly to humerus and in radial groove


arises from medial and lateral cord
has fibres from C6-T1
leaves axilla


arises from medial cord
has fibres from C8-T1
leaves axilla




move anteriorly to the surgical neck of humerus


move posteriorly to the surgical neck of humerus


the bifurcation of brachial artery into radial and ulna
