Imperfect tense

Imperfect Tense: Used for ongoing or habitual actions in the past.

Conditional tense

Conditional Tense: Used to indicate actions that would happen under certain conditions or hypotheticals, often expressed with "would" in English. It is helpful for discussing possibilities, making requests, or giving advice.

trabajarían: they would work

estudiarían: they would study

The imperfect of hay (there is/there are) is había (there was/there were/there used to be). Había is used frequently for describing things in the past, eg en mi pueblo había un restaurante (in my village, there used to be a restaurant).
