Result of French & Indian War: it ended solutary neglect with britian. american identity/nationalism started to form. treaty of paris

Stamp Act: a tax on all paper goods and really hurt everyone. first tax that was really noticable because it came out of their income directly. first direct tax.

Sugar Act: reduced tax on sweets BUT it reduced smuggling but didn’t affect all the colonists
