Registration Advising Process

  • It is crucial to check college emails regularly (weekly, preferably daily) as this is the primary communication platform for advising and important updates.

Advising Appointments

  • Schedule for advising appointments may be longer than usual due to a new registration platform, which has several steps involved.

• Platform Recommendation

  • Advisers recommend using laptops or PCs for registration due to complex navigation; using phones may complicate the process.

  • Workday App: An application is available, but using a larger screen is advised to manage multiple tabs effectively.

Summer Classes

• Old Platform Usage

  • Students taking summer classes will still use the previous system for registration and planning modules.

  • Students may need more than one advising appointment to fully understand required courses for their registration.

  • A yellow sheet is circulated for students to list names and topics if working in pairs or groups.

  • Quiz 3 will be held on the Tuesday after spring break, consisting of 45 multiple choice questions.
