Stimulants
Effects
- Drugs that excite neural activity
- They speed up bodily functions, “stimulating” the body

Hallucinogens
Effects
- Also called psychedelics
- They distort perceptions
- Evoke hallucinations
* Sensations in the absence of sensory input
