Organs is a group of tissues working together to perform a specific function.
Plant organs include roots, stems, leaves, and gametangia.
Simplest plants have no vascular tissue and therefor do not have true roots, stems or leaves.
Consist of a simple body called thallus.
All plants exhibit two different generations
haploid gametophyte
gametophyte develops from haploid spore and makes spores by meiosis
diploid sporophyte
sporophytes develop from the 2n zygote and makes spores by meiosis
Gametangia:
Sporangia:
Non-vascular plants
