F. Soaps

A cleansing and emulsifying agent usually made by action of alkali on fat or fatty acids and consisting essentially of sodium or potassium salts.

1. Powders

Good for lightly soiled clothes, delicates, and baby clothes; may reduce flame retardancy in children’s sleepwear and other fabrics.

2. Flakes

Such as ivory snow; works like powdered soap.

3. Bars

Sometimes used for laundry or hand washing and help in stain removal.

G. Sanitizer

Lysol

It is a heavy-duty germicidal cleanser used in the bathroom and in the kitchen or any fixture that many people touch. Sanitizers containing phenol are toxic for humans and potentially fatal for cats.

H. Bleach

It is used to remove molds and mildew. Chlorine bleach makes white whiter but is not to be used for colored clothes. Chlorine is not a cleaning product.
