Religious attitudes: Racism

Qur’an 30:22 says Allah created humans from lots of different colour soil. This represents the diversity of life on Earth and how it would be against Allah’s intentions for us to commit racism.

Muslims believe the descendants of Adam and Eve were intended to be diverse.

The Church of England’s commitee for Minority Ethnic Anglican Concerns (CMEAC) encourage race awareness and encourage people to join church ministry.

Genesis 1:27 says God created man in his own image. So if you are racist about how someone looks you are going against God too.

Acts 10:34-35 says God does not show favouritism but accepts men of all nations. - People should be tolerant to everyone and not prefer one race, accept like God.
