civic thinking

In the last century many new nations were created, most notably in Africa from the 1960s onward. Imagine that a new nation with a largely Christian population has asked you to propose a governmental structure that accounts for Christian principles. Describe this form of government, and be sure to explain the biblical reasons for your structure. Also explain the weaknesses of pure monarchy or pure democracy.

Modern democracy attempts to avoid the issue of what is good for society by focusing on respecting perceived individual rights, including indulgence in pornography, drugs, and gambling. If you were a legislator, how would you explain to your colleagues that this approach to legislation is flawed?
