external common carotid artery: the muscles of the face, eyes, internal oral cavity, goes toward the brain

left subclavian: supplies oxygenated blood to the brainstem

Pons: basilar artery

medulla: vertebral artery

midbrain: posterior cerebral artery

The vertebral artery becomes the basilar.
